Our take
It's the most complete option if you don't have a car: the three most visited centres, with tickets sorted and the Timanfaya and Cueva de los Verdes time slots handled by the operator. The tickets alone add up to €64, so you pay about €25 for transport and guide. The downside is a long day with little slack; with a car, you can do the same at your own pace.

The experience
What you'll see
A full day at Lanzarote's three most visited centres with all three tickets included: the volcanic south in the morning and César Manrique's north in the afternoon.
- Timanfaya: the Volcano Route, only accessible on official transport, and the geothermal demonstrations at Islote de Hilario.
- Cueva de los Verdes: a guided visit through the La Corona volcano's lava tube, with its final surprise.
- Jameos del Agua: free time in the cave Manrique turned into a lake, garden, pool and auditorium.
How it works
You're picked up at one of almost 60 points on the island; the evening before, the operator confirms the time on WhatsApp. According to its itinerary, you spend about 100 minutes in Timanfaya, an hour at lunch, 55 minutes in Cueva de los Verdes and 55 at Jameos del Agua. There may be a logistics stop in Yaiza to reorganise the coaches.
The big advantage is that you don't have to book time slots: at the Fire Mountains and Cueva de los Verdes tickets are sold online only for a set time, and in high season they sell out. Lunch isn't included: there's an optional buffet at a local restaurant, paid separately, or you can eat on your own.
In Cueva de los Verdes you walk about a kilometre with stairs, narrow passages and low ceilings; at Jameos swimming in the lake and pool is forbidden. Wear closed shoes: the ground at Islote de Hilario is uneven.
Who I'd recommend it to
- Anyone not hiring a car who wants the must-sees in one go.
- Anyone who couldn't find timed tickets for Timanfaya or the Cueva.
- Anyone who prefers caves and volcanoes to the scenic stops of the general island tour.
Who I wouldn't recommend it to
- Anyone with a car and some flexibility: on your own you only pay for the tickets. Read how to visit Timanfaya.
- Anyone with reduced mobility or claustrophobia, because of the Cueva.
- Anyone who also wants La Geria and El Golfo: the full-day island tour includes them.
Accessibility
Not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users; Cueva de los Verdes has stairs, narrow passages and low ceilings.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
