Our take
It's very different from the usual coach excursions, focused on the less touristy north coast and built for people who enjoy photography. It's a long day, but finishing with a sunset more than 300 metres above the Atlantic makes it worthwhile.

The experience
What you will see
- Lava natural pools on the north coast, mostly used by locals.
- The Sardina lighthouse and Sardina beach, with its cave houses.
- The west coast cliffs and Agaete.

How it works
You're picked up at midday from your accommodation and head north by van. You stop at several natural pools (with an optional swim at one), have a picnic and cocktail by the sea, continue through Gáldar and Agaete, and finish watching the sunset from the Mirador del Balcón before heading back.
