Our take
It packs the best of the interior into one day: volcanoes, Roque Nublo on foot and sunset from the island's highest point, with lunch sorted. It's pricey for a group tour, but the 4.9/5 rating backs it up. Only worth it if you can handle a short but steep climb.

The experience
What you will see
- Bandama Caldera from the peak, with views over much of the island.
- The Cruz de Tejeda market, with local produce.
- Roque Nublo, reached on foot, in a UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
- The Tirajana caldera and the central summits.
- Sunset from Pico de las Nieves, the highest point in Gran Canaria.
How it works
You're picked up in the morning and start at Bandama. Next comes Cruz de Tejeda, with time for the market and a tasting lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you hike to Roque Nublo (around three hours with stops) and finish on Pico de las Nieves to watch the sunset before heading back to your hotel.

- Anyone without good fitness or with knee problems.
- Anyone who wants to be back for hotel dinner.
