Our take
It covers more of the interior than most trips from the south, and in a small minivan rather than a coach, which makes a difference on mountain roads and at the stops. Stops are short, so it's more of a scenic drive than an in-depth visit to each village.

The experience
What you will see
- The Degollada viewpoint, overlooking the south of the island.
- Fataga and the Valley of a Thousand Palms.
- San Bartolomé de Tirajana and the almond groves of Ayacata.
- Tejeda, up in the summits.
- The Artenara cave houses and the Monte Pavón viewpoint.
- Fontanales, Moya and the coastal village of San Felipe in the north.
How it works
You're picked up in the south and the minivan climbs the Fataga ravine towards the summits, with short stops at each village and viewpoint. After Tejeda and Artenara you head down through the midlands to Fontanales, where there's free time for lunch. You then pass through Moya and the Los Tilos valley to San Felipe, returning south around Las Palmas.
Who I recommend it for
- Anyone who wants to see the interior and north in a day without driving.
- Anyone who prefers a small vehicle to a coach.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone who wants to hike or spend a long time in each village.
- Anyone prone to carsickness on mountain roads.
Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility impairments or electric wheelchairs.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
