Our take
Sailing with the engine off in a small group is far more pleasant than a crowded big boat, and 4.7/5 from over 1,200 reviews backs it up. It costs a little more than other dolphin trips, but food, drinks and transfers are included.

The experience
What you will see
- The manta rays that live in Morro Jable harbour.
- Jandía's south coast from a sailing yacht.
- Dolphins and, with luck, whales in open water.
How it works
Before boarding you watch the harbour's manta rays and get a short briefing. Once out, the captain raises the sails, cuts the engine and follows fishermen's radio reports to approach dolphins if they're nearby. After about two hours you anchor to swim and snorkel, and sail back with tapas and a drink.
Who I recommend it for
- Couples and families staying in Jandía or Costa Calma.
- Anyone who prefers a small boat to a crowded catamaran.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone prone to seasickness.
- Anyone who needs guaranteed dolphin sightings.
Accessibility
Guests with mobility issues should speak to the captain before booking.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
