The experience
The route
- Figueres: the town where Dalí was born, and the Theatre-Museum he designed, which he called the largest surrealist object in the world.
- Cadaqués: walk through the white village and time to eat fish or seafood by the sea.
- Portlligat: the cove next to Cadaqués where Dalí turned some fishermen's huts into his home and studio.
How it works
They pick you up at your hotel between 8:00 and 9:00 in a minivan and bring you back in the evening. Choose small group (up to 8) or private when you book, and the language of the guide (English or Spanish). The tickets, about 39 €, are paid to the guide on the day.
Who I recommend it for
- Those who don't want to go to a meeting point early in the morning.
- Those travelling alone or as a couple who want a small group without paying for a private tour.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Those arriving by cruise ship: there is no pickup at the port.
- Those looking for the cheapest price: with the tickets it costs about 160 €.
Accessibility
Not suitable for reduced mobility or wheelchairs: there is a lot of walking, and Cadaqués has steep cobbled streets.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
