Romantic things to do in Seville for couples, with prices (2026)

Short answer

The three most special things to do as a couple in Seville are the private sunset rooftop tour, ending at the Setas with a cocktail (€192 per person, €384 for two), the private horse-drawn carriage ride with a guide (€298 per carriage, 1 h 30 min) and an intimate flamenco show such as Casa de la Memoria (€24 per person). On a tighter budget, the Setas viewpoint on your own (€16) and a Guadalquivir cruise with a drink (€25) give you an equally lovely sunset for far less.

Sunset from the rooftops

This is the one we recommend for a special occasion. A guide just for you takes you up to two rooftops in the centre, the second being the Setas viewpoint (Metropol Parasol), just as the Giralda and the domes light up, and tells you legends that only make sense from up there. Setas entry and a drink at the end are included.

  • Price: €192 per person, minimum 2 (groups of 2 to 6).
  • Start time: 5 pm in winter, 5.30 pm in autumn, 6.30 pm in spring and 8 pm in summer.
  • Meet at Calle Adriano 33, El Arenal. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

A carriage ride, but with a guide

The carriages waiting by the cathedral are a Seville classic. Ours is a private hour-and-a-half ride with a guide specialising in Andalusian history who explains what you pass, with a soft drink and, at the end, a traditional local wine. It costs €298 per carriage (up to 4 people) and leaves from Calle Adriano, by the bullring. When booking, enter 1 as the number of people: the operator asks for this because the price is per carriage.

Flamenco for two

For a couple, a small room works better than a big dinner-show venue:

  • Casa de la Memoria: an intimate one-hour show in the centre, €24 per person.
  • Tablao El Arenal: fifty years of flamenco next to the bullring, from €45 per person.

To compare every venue, see our guide to flamenco in Seville.

Cook together

The Andalusian cooking class is a five-hour private experience: you are picked up at your accommodation, shop at a traditional food market and cook century-old recipes in a traditional house with a cook who has more than 45 years in the trade. Then you eat what you have made. Sessions at 11 am (with lunch) or 5.30 pm (with dinner). It costs €398 per person; mention any food intolerance when booking.

Lower-budget plans

  • Mysterious Seville at sunset: a private 90-minute walk through the legends, crimes and mysteries of the old town, from the steps of the Setas. €125 per group of 1 to 4, so €62.50 each for a couple.
  • Guadalquivir cruise: 60 to 90 minutes from the Muelle de Turismo, with a live guide and one drink (soft drink, beer, wine or water), €25 per person.
  • Setas viewpoint on your own: €16 per person, with the ticket valid for two days from first use.

A perfect evening for two

  1. Late afternoon: a stroll through María Luisa Park and Plaza de España (free), or the carriage ride.
  2. Sunset: rooftops and the Setas with a cocktail, or the viewpoint on your own.
  3. Afterwards: flamenco at Casa de la Memoria.
  4. Dinner: tapas in Santa Cruz or across the river in Triana; ideas in Seville tapas with criteria.

Practical tips

  • Book the sunset ahead: the rooftop tour is private (2 to 6 people) and depends on guide availability, especially in spring.
  • Summer: in July and August the heat lasts well into the evening; save the carriage ride and walks for after 8 pm.
  • Proposals: the rooftops and the carriage ride are private, with no strangers around. If you have something planned, tell the operator when you book.
  • Cancellation: all of these plans offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Common mistakes

  • Booking flamenco at sunset time: in spring and summer the sun sets late. Do flamenco afterwards.
  • Taking a street carriage without agreeing the price and duration before you get in.
  • Leaving the cooking class for your last day: it takes five hours with pick-up, so it fits better on day one or two.
