Our take
It is the easiest way to see the north and the coast of Tenerife without a car, and it pairs well with a Teide trip. Groups can be large, so do not expect a very personal experience.

The experience
What you will see
- The Los Gigantes cliffs.
- The ancient Dragon Tree in Icod de los Vinos.
- Puerto de la Cruz, with free time for lunch.
- Candelaria basilica and the statues of the Guanche kings.
How it works
You are picked up in the south and the coach heads up the west coast to Los Gigantes. Then you stop in Icod, have lunch on your own in Puerto de la Cruz and finish in Candelaria before returning south. There are photo stops throughout.
Who I recommend it for
- Anyone staying in the south without a car who wants to see the rest of the island.
- First-time visitors to Tenerife.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone wanting to go up Mount Teide: this route skips the national park.
- Anyone who prefers small groups.
