It's a calm, cheap plan for a non-beach day in Cambrils or Salou, with shade, free-roaming animals and a garden that's nothing like what you'd expect on the Costa Dorada. Take it slowly and allow at least three hours.

The experience
What you will see
- A 19th-century Romantic garden with a lake, grottoes and paths among rare trees.
- Deer, pheasants and peacocks roaming freely.
- The aviary and the former summer residence from 1881.
- The Oil Museum and the Vermouth Museum, with a tasting.
How it works
You buy the ticket for your chosen day, show it on your phone and explore the park at your own pace. It's worth climbing to the viewpoints and finishing at the oil and vermouth museums to try local products.
Who I recommend it for
- Families with children, for the free-roaming animals.
- Anyone after a calm, shady plan away from the beach.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone looking for rides or a theme park: it's a historic garden.

Wheelchair accessible according to the provider.
