The experience

What you'll see

The Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa was a Carthusian monastery from 1399 until the 1835 confiscations. Shortly after, Frédéric Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838-1839 here, which she described in A Winter in Majorca.

The route covers the church, the cloister, the monks' pharmacy, Chopin's cells (with his piano) and King Sancho's palace. Several times a day there is a short piano recital.
