The experience
What you'll see
A 1-hour hot air balloon flight over Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage city. From the air you can take in the Roman Aqueduct, the Gothic Cathedral and the Alcázar all at once, along with the plateau landscape around the city.
How it works
The whole activity takes about 4 hours. You meet at the operator's base in Segovia and head to the launch site. After the flight, 4x4 vehicles take passengers from the landing spot to a breakfast with cava, and you receive a flight certificate and a photo report. If you don't have a car, you can add pickup from Madrid (Hotel Riu Plaza España, on Gran Vía) for €40 per person. Times depend on the weather and may change.
The operator is Aerodifusión, which says it was the first balloon company in central Spain to obtain an official quality certificate.
Who I'd recommend it to
- Couples looking for a special plan near Madrid.
- Anyone who already knows Segovia on foot and wants to see it from a new angle.
- Families with children aged 6 and over.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start, with a full refund.
