Our take
It's designed for people who don't dive: you see wrecks and fish without getting wet, in 40 minutes. Visibility varies and windows are shared, so don't expect a documentary, but it works very well with kids. Pair it with a stroll around the harbour.
What's included
- Submarine tour of about 40 minutes
- Screens to follow the manoeuvres
- Headphones with audio guide
Not included
- Transfer to the harbour (free pickup from the south is subject to availability and must be requested from the provider)

The experience
What you will see
- The shipwrecks lying just outside the entrance to Puerto de Mogán.
- Shoals of fish and volcanic seabed through the portholes.
- The descent to about 25 metres, tracked on screens on board.
- Puerto de Mogán from the quay, before and after the dive.
How it works
Make your own way (or use the free pickup, if the provider has space for your resort) to the Dique Sur pontoon. Exchange your voucher at the Submarine Adventure kiosk 20 minutes before departure: the doors close 10 minutes before and the submarine does not wait. Once on board you take a seat by a window and put on headphones for the audio guide, available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish.
The dive lasts about 40 minutes. The submarine leaves the harbour, descends close to the coast and passes several wrecks and rocky areas where the fish gather. Screens show the depth and what the pilot sees. You return to the same quay at the end.
Practical tips
- Arrive with time to spare: the voucher exchange 20 minutes before is mandatory, and if you're late you lose your slot.
- If the sea is rough the trip may be cancelled; you'll be offered a refund or a new date.
- The submarine is not accessible for wheelchair users or people with mobility problems.
- Make time to wander the canals and bougainvillea-covered lanes of Puerto de Mogán, one of the prettiest villages on the island. There's a market by the harbour on Fridays.
Who I recommend it for
- Families with children aged 2 and over.
- Anyone who wants to see the seabed without diving or getting wet.
Who I don't recommend it for
- People who suffer from claustrophobia: the cabin is compact.
- Regular divers or snorkelers: you'll see less than you're used to.
Accessibility
Not accessible for wheelchair users or people with mobility problems.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
