Our take
It's the most complete and affordable way to see the southern Costa Brava in a day without a car, and the boat leg between Lloret and Tossa is what sets it apart from similar trips. Groups are big, so don't expect a personal touch, but at 4.8/5 from over 1,500 reviews it clearly works.

The experience
What you'll see
- Lloret de Mar: the seafront promenade, the main beach, Sa Caleta cove and the modernist church of Sant Romà.
- The coast between Lloret and Tossa from the boat: cliffs and coves shaped by the sea.
- Tossa de Mar and its Vila Vella, one of the few walled medieval towns left on the Catalan coast.
- The old fishing quarter of Sa Roqueta.
How it works
You leave Barcelona Nord by coach in the morning and reach Lloret de Mar in about 75 minutes, with an hour and a half of free time. Then you board the boat for an hour-long cruise along the coast to Tossa de Mar. There the guide shows you the old town, followed by free time for lunch, a stroll or a swim before the coach back to Barcelona.
Who I recommend it for
- Travellers in Barcelona without a car who want to see the Costa Brava in a day.
- Anyone after an affordable day trip that's more than just a coach ride.
- People who like mixing a historic town and the beach.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone who prefers small groups: there can be up to 50 people.
- Those looking for quiet coves: Lloret is very touristy.
- Wheelchair users.
Accessibility
Not wheelchair accessible.
