Our take
One of the most unusual experiences in Cádiz: seeing fighting bulls in the dehesa, where they live, and learning how they're bred and selected from someone on the ranch. It ends with a traditional lunch in Vejer, one of Andalusia's prettiest white villages. Great for families and for anyone who wants to see the real Andalusian countryside. It's private, with transport from your hotel. For two it's about €416 per person; for four it halves to about €206. No published reviews yet.

The experience
How the day works
You're picked up at your hotel and driven straight to a fighting bull ranch in the La Janda area of Cádiz. The bull's habitat is the dehesa, open wooded pasture where it feeds and develops its defining traits: bravery, presence, strength and nobility. There you discover that ecosystem and see how the bulls live in herds.
Then you visit the part of the ranch where they explain the selection process and the care each bull receives throughout its life.
After the visit you head to Vejer de la Frontera for a traditional lunch (included). You're back at your hotel by mid-afternoon.
