Sagrada Familia tickets 2026: prices, types and which to choose

Short answer

For the basilica alone, the audio-guide ticket from €34 is the cheapest bookable option; the guided tour with tower access (€75) is the only one that goes up a tower. To add Park Güell without losing the whole day, the 4-hour guided combo (€104) covers both. Book weeks ahead: entry is by timed slot and only sold online.

How to choose in 30 seconds

  • Just the basilica, tight budget: audio-guide ticket (€34).
  • Want to climb a tower: it's the only option that allows it — the guided tour with tower access (€75).
  • Want a small group without the tower: small-group guided visit (€99).
  • Want Park Güell too, without spending the whole day: the combined guided tour (€104), 4 hours.
  • Want to see all of Barcelona in one day: the full-day excursion (€129).
  • Want it all private: the full-day private tour (from €658) includes the Sagrada Família, but not Park Güell.

What the combined tours really include

The four combos look similar but work differently inside the basilica:

  • Guided tour Sagrada Família + Park Güell (€104): the guide goes inside both with you. It starts at 10:00 at Park Güell (Carrer d'Olot, 24), with transport to the basilica. Up to 16 people; not adapted for wheelchairs.
  • Barcelona in one day (€129): both entries are included, but the guide covers the Sagrada Família from outside only — you visit the interior on your own with the audio-guide app. Meets at 9:00 at La Rambla 97, no hotel pickup. Rated 4.9/5 from over 15,000 reviews.
  • The private tour includes hotel pickup, private transport and a private guide, but not Park Güell.

Is a reseller ticket worth it?

The official website sells the basic ticket with the audio-guide app for €26 and the ticket with towers for €36 (as of 2026); with an official guided tour it's €30, or €40 with towers. Children under 11 go free. Bookable options cost more because they add a guide, a small group or a second monument; the €34 ticket's main value is availability when the official site is sold out. If your date is available officially and you don't need a guide, buy there.

The towers

  • You can't always choose your tower. On the guided tour with tower access, only one tower is open and the basilica assigns it (Nativity or Passion) depending on the day and the works.
  • Lift up, stairs down. The descent is a narrow spiral staircase, so the towers aren't accessible to people with reduced mobility.
  • No children under 6, even with an adult.
  • They close in rain, strong wind or for maintenance.

Before you go

  • Book early. Tickets are sold online only, by timed slot. In 2026, the Gaudí Year, slots sell out weeks ahead — the towers first.
  • Be on time. You can enter up to 15 minutes after your slot. The last slot of the day gives you about 45 minutes inside.
  • Bring ID. Tickets are in your name; show an ID card or passport at the entrance.
  • Dress code: it's a working basilica. No hats, swimwear or see-through clothing; trousers or skirts must reach mid-thigh. Carry a scarf for your shoulders in summer.
  • Audio guide: it's an app on your own phone — bring headphones. Only for visitors over 11. From 9:00 to 10:00 (a daily prayer hour since February 2026) headphones are compulsory and silence is expected.
  • Opening hours: from 9:00 (Sundays 10:30), closing at 20:00 from April to September, 19:00 in March and October and 18:00 from November to February; Saturdays always close at 18:00.
  • Best light: 10:00-12:00 for the green and blue Nativity windows; late afternoon for the red and orange Passion windows — our pick if you can only choose one.
  • Getting there: metro Sagrada Família (L2, L5). The visitor entrance is on Carrer de la Marina, at the Nativity façade. Allow 1.5 hours inside, 2.5 with a tower.

Things to know before booking

All options include skip-the-line entry to the Sagrada Família. The full-day private tour (from €658) does not include Park Güell. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before on the tours; the audio-guide ticket needs 48 hours' notice.
