The experience
What's included
Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe: 26,000 m² of hands-on science in the building shaped like a whale skeleton. A 34-metre Foucault pendulum, exhibitions on the human body, space and climate, and live workshops. The motto here is forbidden not to touch.
Hemisfèric: Calatrava's eye. Inside, a hall with a 900 m² concave screen showing IMAX documentaries and planetarium sessions. One 45-minute session included; you choose the film and time when you exchange your voucher.
Planning the visit
Arrive, exchange your voucher and book the Hemisfèric session for two hours later. Explore the museum (2 hours is about right with children) and go in for the film. On the way out, the walk around the pools between the buildings is free and gives the best photo of Valencia at sunset.
