Our take
The easiest way to see Tenerife's seabed without getting wet, perfect with children or with anyone who does not snorkel. The rays and the divers feeding the fish are the best part. The price is high for an hour, but the experience is unique on the island.

The experience
What you will see
The yellow submarine leaves from Amarilla Marina, at the southern tip of Tenerife, and descends to about 30 metres. During the trip you can see trumpetfish, octopuses, barracudas, parrotfish and a family of rays, as well as a shipwreck on the seabed.
At one point the submarine settles on the bottom and divers attract the fish to the windows so you can take photos. The audio guide, in 15 languages, explains the marine life and ecosystem of the Canary Islands.
Getting there
The operator runs a free bus from the tourist areas in the south (Los Cristianos, Las Américas, Costa Adeje). If you are driving, there is free parking at the port.
Accessibility
Not wheelchair accessible (you go down into the submarine by a ladder).
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance, with a full refund.
