Our take
Gibraltar is about two hours from Seville, and it makes sense to do it with everything arranged: a private car to the border, another vehicle with a guide up the Rock and cave and tunnel tickets included. The 15 Tripadvisor reviews (4.9 out of 5) are very good. The price is per group, €860 for 1 or 2 people, so it's expensive for a couple; with 4 people, €1,040 in total, it's €260 a head. Check your entry documents carefully, as they're your responsibility.

The experience
How the day works
Your driver picks you up from your accommodation in Seville and in about 2 hours you reach the Gibraltar border. There you change vehicles and meet your local guide for a tour of about 2 hours on the Rock.
You start with the Barbary macaques, Europe's only wild monkeys. You pass the spot Greek mythology placed at the end of the world, go into St Michael's Cave, once a Victorian wedding venue and a Second World War hospital, and explore the Great Siege Tunnels dug into the rock. Afterwards the guide drops you on Main Street with 1.5-2 hours free before heading back to Seville.
