Our take
It's the walk you want on your first day in Málaga: Calle Larios, the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum from outside, the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba, all in a short route with a guide just for you. Be clear on what it is: a walk for context, not an in-depth visit to every monument; the Cathedral is seen from outside. The price is per group and works well for couples and families: €200 for 1 or 2 people on the 2-hour version and €240 on the 3-hour one. For 4 of you, €280 in total. Travelling solo, a free tour is cheaper, but it isn't private.

Meeting point
Plaza de la Constitución, Málaga
Meet your guide in Plaza de la Constitución, at the top of Calle Larios. The tour is on foot through the old town.
The experience
The route
You start in Plaza de la Constitución and walk down Calle Larios to Málaga Cathedral, seen from outside and nicknamed «the one-armed lady» for its unfinished tower. Then along Calle San Agustín, home to the Picasso Museum, and past El Pimpi, the city's best-known bodega.
The last stretch is old Málaga: the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba, with tickets included, plus the Málaga Museum.
How it works
You choose the length when booking: 2 or 3 hours. It's private, just for your party, and priced per group: €200 for 1 or 2 people on the 2-hour option and €240 on the 3-hour one. The 2-hour option and the 3-hour option with the Cathedral are wheelchair accessible; the 3-hour option with the Alcazaba is not.
Who it's for
- New arrivals who want to get the measure of Málaga on day one.
- Couples and families who'd rather have a guide to themselves.
- Cruise passengers with a few hours ashore (note: there's no port pickup).
Accessibility
The operator states the 2-hour option and the 3-hour option with the Cathedral are wheelchair accessible. The 3-hour option with the Alcazaba is not adapted, because of the monument's access and interior.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 24 hours before. No refund within 24 hours of the start.
