Our take
It's the most comfortable way to do the Caminito if there are 4 or more of you: car and guide just for your group, without relying on the entrance groups. For a couple, the version with a shared guide on the trail is noticeably cheaper.

The experience
What the day is like
You're picked up at your accommodation in Málaga and in just under an hour you reach the Caminito del Rey access point. From there, the guide walks the route with your group only: about 8 km and 3 hours along walkways and bridges hanging more than 100 metres above the river in the Gaitanes Gorge. Afterwards the car takes you back to Málaga (lunch is not included).
Who I recommend it to
- Groups of 4 to 7: per person it costs less than many shared-guide trips.
- Anyone who wants to set their own pace and ask the guide questions without sharing.
- If there are 2 of you, see the other private Caminito trip: the transfer is private and the visit on the trail is in a group, and it costs less.
Accessibility
Not wheelchair accessible: it is about 8 km of trail and walkways.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation with a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. No refund within the last 24 hours.
