The experience
What you'll see
A 1 h 15 min electric tuk-tuk ride through the historic heart of Madrid. You start at the Neptune Fountain, pass along the Art Walk (Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía), Plaza de Santa Ana and the Spanish Parliament, then head into Habsburg Madrid: Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, La Latina, Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace. The way back takes in San Miguel Market, Plaza de España, Gran Vía and Cibeles.
How it works
The tuk-tuk waits in the parking area of Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, opposite the Thyssen Museum. It's private: the price is per tuk-tuk and it seats up to 4 people. Commentary plays through headphones in 11 languages while the driver follows the route, and there's water, wifi and phone charging on board. If there are more than 4 of you, book one tuk-tuk per group.
Who I'd recommend it to
- First-time visitors who want an overview of Madrid in a short time.
- Groups of 3 or 4, when the per-tuk-tuk price is best value.
- Anyone who'd rather not walk much but still wants to see the landmarks up close.
Cancellation policy
According to the supplier, the booking is non-refundable, so double-check the date and time before paying.
