Our take
Compared with Jerez's big houses, this is a small winery with real history, and the tasting pours are generous for the price. It is a good pick if you want to understand sherry without a theme-park feel. Being central, it pairs easily with the Alcázar or the cathedral.

- A short film on Jerez, wine and the winery itself.
- The visitor centre: sherry history, vineyards and the ageing system.
- A collection of historic labels.
How it works
You meet at the winery on Plaza de los Silos. After an introduction to the building and a short film, a guide takes you through the visitor centre. You finish with a tasting of four wines and can stop by the shop if you like.
