The experience
What the general admission includes
The general admission ticket gives access to the whole monument: the Nasrid Palaces (timed entry), the Alcazaba, the Generalife with its gardens and the Palace of Charles V. It is the ticket almost everyone needs; the other options (Gardens only, Night visit) leave out the essentials.
How to plan your 3 hours
- Arrive 30 minutes before your Nasrid Palaces slot. The access pavilion is at the opposite end from the palaces.
- If your slot is early, go Nasrid Palaces → Alcazaba → Charles V → Generalife. If it is late, reverse the order and leave the palaces for last.
- The Nasrid Palaces take 45-60 minutes on a one-way route. You cannot go back.
Who it's for
- Independent visitors who do not want a group schedule.
- Anyone with fixed dates who cannot find tickets on the official website.
Who it's not for
- Those who want to understand what they are seeing: a guide adds a lot here. See the guided tour comparison in our Alhambra guide.
Accessibility
The route has slopes, stairs and uneven ground. A partial accessible itinerary exists; check before booking.
Cancellation policy
Non-refundable. Alhambra tickets are named and cannot be changed.
