The experience
What you will see
- The winding roads of Betancuria Rural Park.
- The fishing village of Ajuy, its black beach and its caves.
- The volcanic scenery and viewpoints of Sicasumbre.
- The east coast and traditional villages on the way back.
How it works
You're picked up in your area and the minibus crosses Betancuria park towards the west. In Ajuy there's time for lunch and a walk to the caves. Then you head up into the Sicasumbre mountains for the views and return along the east coast towards Caleta and Corralejo. The group is capped at eight, and the guide shares the island's history and traditions along the way.
Who I recommend it for
- Anyone staying in Corralejo or Caleta de Fuste who wants to see the interior.
- Anyone who prefers small groups and mountain scenery.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone staying in Jandía: there's no pickup.
- Anyone who needs the tour in Spanish.
Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility impairments or electric wheelchairs.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with a full refund.
