A half-day escape from Córdoba to eat well: a family winery in Montilla, the kind that supplies good Andalusian restaurants but doesn't live off tourism, with a walk through the vines and a paired lunch. All private, transport included. For two it's expensive, about €397 per person; for four it halves to about €198. No published reviews yet.

The experience
How the day works
At the agreed time you're picked up in Córdoba and driven to the Montilla area in the south of the province: rolling hills of white albariza soil covered in vineyards and olive groves. There you visit a family winery, authentic and free of tourist frills, that makes wines for buyers across Spain and for some of Andalusia's best restaurants.
You start in the vineyard, learning how the local grape is grown; continue to the winery to see how the wine is made; and finish with lunch overlooking the vines, paired with several of the house wines. In good weather, lunch is served in the vineyard itself. Then it's back to Córdoba.
Who it's for
- Wine lovers who want to discover Montilla-Moriles at source.
- Groups of three or four: the price per person drops a lot.
Accessibility
The operator does not state that it is wheelchair accessible.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 24 hours before. No refund within 24 hours of the start.
