What the day is like
The guide picks you up at your Bilbao hotel and you drive in a private car to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe: the stone path and the roughly 240 steps up to the hermitage above the sea (the islet appeared in Game of Thrones as Dragonstone). Access is already booked. Then Mundaka, a fishing village famous for its wave, and Gernika, with the Tree and the Assembly House, symbols of the Basque Country, and the Guernica mural. In the afternoon, back to your hotel.
