Our take
Mundomar is underrated. The dolphin show is genuinely excellent, the variety of animals is wider than you'd expect, and it's far less crowded than a large theme park. The 4.7 rating with 1,582 reviews says it all.

Meeting point
Mundomar, Partida de les Fonts, s/n, Benidorm, Alicante

The experience
Benidorm's marine park
Mundomar is a marine and exotic animal park next to Terra Mítica, focused on shows, interaction with animals, and a tropical garden.
The shows
Dolphin show — the highlight of any visit. A 20-minute performance showcasing the intelligence and agility of bottlenose dolphins. The trainers provide commentary on dolphin biology and behaviour alongside the performance.
Sea lion show — similarly entertaining, with trained California sea lions demonstrating natural behaviours and tricks.
Both shows are included in the entry ticket. Timetables are posted at the entrance; plan your day around the show times.
The animal enclosures
Beyond the shows, Mundomar has:
- Tropical bird garden with free-flying parrots, flamingos, and toucans
- Ring-tailed lemurs in a walk-through enclosure
- Capybaras, meerkats, and other small exotic mammals
- Reptile house with snakes, lizards, and tortoises
Swim with dolphins
A separate, paid "swim with dolphins" experience is available (book at the ticket office). Not included in the standard entry, but popular with families wanting a closer interaction.
Combining with Terra Mítica
Mundomar and Terra Mítica share the same access road and parking. Many families visit both parks on the same day — Mundomar in the morning (calmer, fewer crowds, good for young children) and Terra Mítica in the afternoon (for older children and teenagers).
Accessibility
Largely accessible for wheelchair users. Confirm specific needs with the park.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before with full refund.
