Our take
The quickest way to see Alicante from the sea and from the air: an hour and a half, a 15-minute flight and a fun atmosphere on board. Rated 4.5 out of 5 from more than 470 reviews, it's one of the best-rated water activities in the city. The most common complaint in reviews: the flight feels short and photos cost extra, since you usually can't use your own phone. If you want to swim and relax for several hours, the Tabarca trip is a better fit.

The experience
What you'll see
- The Alicante coastline, Santa Bárbara Castle and the beaches from the sea.
- The city and mountains from about 150 metres up.
How it works
You board at Marina de Alicante and the speedboat takes you along the coast, with music, to the flying area. The instructor gets you ready and you take off from the boat itself, in groups of up to 5 people per parasail. You fly for about 15 minutes and land back on the boat without getting wet. Then it's back to the marina.
Who I recommend it for
- Groups of friends and couples looking for something different.
- Families with children aged 4 and over.
Who I don't recommend it for
- Anyone wanting to swim or spend the day at sea.
- Pregnant women or people with back or heart problems.
Accessibility
Not wheelchair accessible.
